The world's cultural and natural heritage is an important outcome of the development of human civilization and natural evolution, and an important vehicle for the exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention, the Chinese National Commission, in collaboration with the State Administration of Forestry and Grassland and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, will organize the celebration event at the national level.
Focusing on the protection, inheritance and utilization of World Heritage, the event will review the development of China’s World Heritage endeavour, achievements made, experience gained and explore the next 50 years of World Heritage as a source of resilience, humanity and innovation.
